Center Organization

The Cyber Security R&D Center is a program within U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate . The Center is supported by SRI International, an independent, nonprofit research institute, under the guidance of the DHS S&T Cyber Security Program Manager, Dr. Douglas Maughan. SRI's support team for the Center consists of:

• Program Director: Dr. Douglas Maughan, Department of Homeland Security


• Executive Support: Dr. Patrick Lincoln, SRI International


• Menlo Park Support: Dr. Ulf Lindqvist, SRI International


• Washington D.C. Support: Zachary Tudor, SRI International


• Technical Support: Alfonso Valdes, SRI International

SRI staff members participate in many related cyber security activities, both in government-sponsored research and ongoing SRI-initiated information security commercialization efforts. The technical knowledge, system building experience, and community outreach that are developed in the course of this separately funded work will contribute directly to the success of the Center.
